The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on September 28, 2023. Chair Russ Thomas called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at the Township Hall.
Members Present: Donna Ash, Russ Thomas, Dick Demerly, Bill Nash, and Jim Norder.
Absent: Tom Runyan and Larry Johnson
Moved by Dick Demerly to approve the meeting agenda. Seconded by Bill Nash. Motion carried.
Moved by Dick Demerly to approve the minutes for the August 31, 2023. Seconded Russ Thomas. Motion carried.
Public comment.
Michael Duane from communityinput.org introduced himself and explained the purpose of his organization and why he was here tonight.
No old business.
Moved by Bill Nash to approve the Dealer Municipality Approval Request of Allstar Auto Salvage, LLC of 7500 S. M-52, Owosso, 48867. (Note: the dealer classification request does not legally require approval on the Township level) Seconded by Jim Norder. Motion carried.
Next meeting is October 26, 2023.
