The Bennington Township Planning Commission Meeting was held on December 15, 2011. Vice-chair Dick Demerly called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
Members present: Bill Nash, Donna Ash, Frank Gregory, Bernie Scollan, Rod Harmon and Dick Demerly.
Moved by Donna Ash to approve agenda with addition of the October 27, 2011 minutes. Seconded by Rod Harmon. Motion carried.
Moved by Frank Gregory to accept the November 27, 2011 minutes. Seconded by Bill Nash. Motion carried.
Moved by Donna Ash to accept the October 27, 2011 minutes. Seconded by Bernie Scollan. Motion carried.

Doug Piggott of Rowe
Engineering gave a report to the Board on the progress of the update and
review of the Community Description of the Bennington Township Master Plan’s
2011 update. Doug gave a
detailed explanation of data to be added to the Bennington Township Master
Plan.
Moved by Donna Ash to accept
the resolution to update the Five Year Review of Bennington Township’s
Master Plan. Seconded by Frank
Gregory. Motion carried.
Moved by Donna Ash to accept
the bylaws Section 6, Conflict of Interest as reflected in the Ordinance #
11-08-01. Seconded by Bernie
Scollan. Yeas 6, Nays 0, motion
carried.
Donna Ash updated the Board on
Bennington Township’s application for NFIP of FEMA.
The Board recieved copies of a letter from FEMA stating they have
received all papers and documents.
Moved by Frank Gregory to approve the Bennington Township Planning Commission’s meeting schedule for 2012 as printed. Seconded by Bill Nash. Motion carried.
The next Bennington Township Planning Commission meeting date will be on January 26, 2012.
Moved by Frank Gregory to adjourn the meeting at 8:30 PM. Seconded by Bill Nash. Motion carried.
