The Bennington Township regular board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Lee Ash on May 1, 2023, 7:00pm, at the Township Hall.
Present: Jim Forsythe, Matt Dutcher, Lee Ash, Cody Baker, Donna Ash.
Forsythe moved to approve the agenda as printed. Second by L. Ash. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve the minutes for the April 3, 2023 regular board meeting as printed. Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
L. Ash moved to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Baker. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Forsythe moved to approve payment of the bills as a total cost of $12,566.33. Second by Dutcher. All board members in favor. Motion carried.
Public Comment:
SSESA Fire Chief Guy Hubbard – Gave a presentation on the need to increase the per household rate from $65 to $110.
Paul and Sandra Michalec – Submitted a complaint against a neighbor regarding junk/blight.
County Comm Cindy Garber – Reported on county activities.
Board Reports:
Library – Garber – Statistical Report on file.
Plan Co – D. Ash – No meeting. Meeting with Rowe Engineering next month.
Roads – L. Ash – Contracts signed, Gradall expected second week of June.
